Visit of US Congressional Staff Delegation

The US Congressional Staff Delegation visited CMU on April 12th.

President Jong-Tsun Huang welcome them in the meeting. During the academic discusion, the US Congressional Staff Delegation and the representatives of CMU, including Prof. Shin-Da Lee, Prof. Wu-Chung Shen, Prof. Shung-Te Kao and Prof. Yuk-Man Leung, briefly introduced each other and exchanged ideas about Chinese Medicine. The US Congressional Staff Delegation are very interested in the therapy and devepolment of Chinese Medicine. A/Prof. Su-yin Chiang especially introduced CMU and the school of Chinese Medicine for the delegation.

After the discussion, the US Congressional Staff Delegation visited the hospital of CMU. The doctors of CMU hospital, including Dr. Yu-Chen Lee and Dr. wu, helped them to experience acupuncture and ventouse. Since they had high interest in Chinese Medicine, Li-Fu Museum of Chinese Medicine is a good place for them to learn more about the history and elements of traditional chinese medicine. A/Prof. Bih-Cheng Chen, Curator of Lifu Museum, guided and explained the exhibitions in detail.
