Dear Students,
2026 Fall Semester CMU International Students Scholarship is now open for applications!
The winners will receive the scholarship at the end of the semester on a competition basis. Selection will be made by a committee chaired by the Deans of the Colleges.
Please carefully review the eligibility criteria and instructions. Make sure to attach all required documents and submit the application before the deadline.

★Application Period: September 21 ~ October 30, 2026, based on submission timestamp
★Scholarship amount: 10,000 NTD to 50,000 NTD, awarded at the end of this semester.
★Requirements and Qualifications
1. General Eligibility
-
Must be a full-time student
-
Complete at least one semester
-
Conduct assessment ≥80 with no penalties or demerits in the previous semester
-
Undergraduate
-
Completed ≥9 credits in the previous semesters
-
Reach total average score ≥80 (GPA3.0) in academic performance
-
For Master and Doctoral students:
-
Reach total average score ≥84 (GPA3.7) in academic performance
If no academic score is assigned during the period of research study or thesis writing, a Master’s or Doctoral student may submit a letter of recommendation from the advisor and a research/project proposal instead.

Ineligibility
-
Applicants who have exceeded the standard duration of study
(respective degree for Bachelor’s; 2 years for Master’s; 4 years for PhD).

Applicants who have not completed their first semester
-
Applicants who are in their final semester of study
-
Applications without the Advisor’s and Department Chair’s signatures
-
Recipients of government-sponsored scholarships (such as Taiwan Scholarship, MOE Scholarship, MOE Elite Scholarship, or MOFA Scholarship)
-
Recipients of CMU Outstanding Scholarship

Disqualifications
-
Awardees who fail to complete registration, defer admission, take a leave of absence, or transfer/withdraw from the university in the semester of receiving the scholarship will have their award canceled.

If any submitted documents or statements are found to be forged or false, the scholarship award will be revoked, and any disbursed funds must be returned in full.
