Recommended for Graduates Learning Chinese: Chinese-Learner Friendly Jobs

Through our conversations with students, we have found that many international students hesitate to apply for jobs because they are unsure whether their Chinese proficiency is sufficient for certain positions.

To address this concern, the 104 Foreigners platform has introduced a "Chinese-Learner Friendly Jobs" label on selected job postings. This feature is designed to help international talent identify opportunities that are generally more welcoming to foreign applicants or have relatively flexible Chinese language requirements, making the job exploration process more focused and accessible.

For some positions, employers may prioritize professional expertise, English proficiency, or cross-cultural experience rather than Chinese language skills as the primary qualification.

Please note that this label is intended as a reference tool during job exploration. We cannot guarantee that all labeled positions require little or no Chinese proficiency. Actual job responsibilities and language requirements vary by employer. Students are encouraged to confirm relevant requirements directly with employers during the application or interview process.

Helping Employers Understand How to Hire International Talent: International Talent Hiring Guide

In our work with employers, we often find that many companies are open to hiring international talent but may be unfamiliar with the latest regulations, work permit requirements, or hiring procedures. These information gaps can sometimes prevent promising recruitment opportunities from moving forward.

To help address this issue, we have created the International Talent Hiring Guide, a resource specifically designed for employers. The guide explains commonly asked questions regarding hiring qualifications, work permit regulations, and employment procedures in a clear and accessible format.

If students discover during the application or interview process that an employer is unfamiliar with regulations related to hiring international talent, they may proactively provide this guide as a reference.

By improving transparency and reducing communication barriers, we hope to lessen employers’ uncertainty about hiring international talent and ultimately increase students’ opportunities to secure interviews and job offers.
