Starting Your Journey in Taiwan: 2026 Fall Orientation for International Students
The Office of Global Affairs held new student orientation sessions for the Fall Semester on September 15, 2026 and September 16, 2026 at the Beigang and Shuinan Campuses, respectively, to help new students better understand the regulations and important matters related to studying and living in Taiwan.
The sessions covered relevant government regulations and potential penalties for violations, common infectious diseases in Taiwan and preventive measures, as well as important matters such as residence permits, work permits, and insurance. Representatives from the National Immigration Agency were also invited to provide students with practical information regarding immigration regulations and residence-related matters.
In addition to the presentations, Q&A and discussion sessions were arranged to give students the opportunity to ask questions about their studies and daily lives in Taiwan. The Office of Global Affairs and guest speakers addressed students’ questions and provided guidance, helping new students resolve their concerns and adapt more smoothly to their new academic and living environment in Taiwan.
