Office of Global Affairs Connects with International Students Through Summer Luncheon Gatherings
To support international students who remained in Taiwan during the summer break, foster connections among students from different cohorts, and better understand their needs, the Office of Global Affairs hosted two luncheon gatherings: "Meet with Vietnamese Students" on July 3, 2026, and "Meet with Indonesian Students" on July 9, 2026.
The events invited the Associate Dean and the Dean from the Office of Global Affairs to join students for lunch in a relaxed and friendly setting. Through open conversations, students shared their experiences and challenges in academics, daily life, and cultural adjustment. Senior students also exchanged their experiences with newer students, helping them adapt more smoothly to campus life. The gatherings provided a warm atmosphere and encouraged meaningful interaction between students and the Office of Global Affairs.
The Office of Global Affairs will continue to organize similar luncheon gatherings with international students from other countries, providing additional opportunities for communication and ensuring timely support throughout their studies in Taiwan.
