2026 International Culture Week Attracts Strong Participation with Food and Cultural Activities
The Office of Global Affairs held the “2026 International Culture Week” from April 28 to 29 at the Shuinan Campus Plaza. The event was jointly planned and organized by overseas Chinese students and international students, and concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from faculty and students, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
The event featured a variety of cultural booths showcasing specialty foods from Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Macau, Hong Kong, and Pakistan, allowing participants to experience diverse cultures through cuisine. In addition, Indian students offered traditional henna art on site, presenting unique cultural artistry that was well received by attendees.
Throughout the two-day event, the venue was filled with a steady stream of visitors. Participants not only enjoyed international cuisines but also engaged in meaningful interactions with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering mutual understanding and connection. Through active participation and exchange, the event further cultivated an inclusive and multicultural campus environment, highlighting the university’s commitment to internationalization.
This event not only strengthened interaction and collaboration among international students, but also enhanced cultural awareness and appreciation among the university community. The Office of Global Affairs will continue to promote international exchange initiatives and create a more dynamic and diverse campus environment.
