International Students Engage with Employers at NTU Job Fair 2026

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, a group of CMU international students departed from Shuinan Campus to attend the National Taiwan University (NTU) Job Fair 2026, one of the largest campus recruitment events in Taiwan. The visit provided students with the opportunity to explore career options, meet recruiters from a wide range of industries, and gain insights into employer expectations.

During the event, students engaged directly with company representatives who introduced their organizations, explained recruitment requirements, and shared practical advice on how candidates can strengthen their chances of securing employment. These in-person conversations allowed students to better understand the qualifications, skills, and career pathways valued by employers.

The job fair brought together companies from diverse sectors, creating a dynamic environment where young talent and industry representatives could interact openly. International students appreciated the opportunity to speak freely with recruiters, as the schedule allowed sufficient time to explore booths and have meaningful discussions about internships, graduate positions, and long-term career development.

A highlight of the event was the Global Talent and Sustainability Zone, where organizations actively seeking international professionals shared information about global career opportunities. Many booths also ensured English-speaking staff were available, enabling international students to communicate comfortably and learn more about potential career pathways in Taiwan and beyond.

Beyond professional networking, the fair also fostered an engaging atmosphere through interactive booth activities and small promotional items that encouraged students to connect with companies and follow their recruitment channels.

Overall, the NTU Job Fair provided our international students with valuable exposure to the labor market, strengthened their understanding of industry expectations, and encouraged proactive career exploration. The experience highlighted the importance of direct engagement between employers and emerging talent in supporting students’ transition from university to the professional world.
