International Students Visited the 2025 Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan in Nangang — Strengthening Research Capacity and Understanding of Future Medical Innovation
A group of international students recently completed an educational visit to the 2025 Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (Hall 1). The visit provided substantial value to their academic development, offering first-hand exposure to cutting-edge medical and healthcare technologies showcased at one of the most influential medical innovation events in the Asia-Pacific region.
During the exhibition, students explored advanced medical devices, AI-enhanced diagnostics, digital health systems, telemedicine solutions, regenerative medicine applications, and smart hospital technologies. Their interactions with exhibitors, researchers, and healthcare professionals broadened their understanding of current global healthcare trends and strengthened their ability to apply emerging technologies within their own fields of study.
The students also gained insight into the ecosystem that Taiwan is known for — the integration of medtech, biotech, ICT, medical devices, and healthcare services — providing them a comprehensive view of the industry's collaborative innovation model. Exposure to such an environment is expected to enrich their research perspectives and foster potential international collaboration in the future.
This successful visit reflects the Office of Global Affair’s ongoing commitment to promoting global academic exchange while supporting international students in engaging with real-world medical innovation and industry-driven research.
