Points of You Workshop — Helping Students Recharge and Refocus Mid-Semester
As the semester reaches its midpoint, many international students begin to feel the weight of academic demands, social interactions, and personal expectations. To help students relieve stress, reconnect with themselves, and regain motivation, the Office of Global Affairs hosted the Points of You Workshop – Multi-Dimensional Self-Exploration through Images and Stories on November 3, 2025.
Led by Mr. Mark Lin, the workshop uses the internationally recognized Points of You creative card tools to guide participants in discovering new perspectives through images and storytelling. By engaging in reflective and playful activities, students will explore their thoughts and emotions, release tension, and uncover new ways to approach challenges in learning and life.
Through small group sharing and discussions, participants will practice listening, expressing themselves, and connecting with others. The workshop encourages self-awareness, empathy, and resilience—helping students find balance and clarity for the rest of the semester.
