Professional Image Makeover Day: Helping Students Build a Confident First Impression
The Office of International Students Employment Counseling successfully hosted the Professional Image Makeover Day for the second time, following the overwhelming success of the first event. As soon as registration opened, all spots were fully booked, showing just how popular this experience has become among students.
In collaboration with a professional imaging studio, the workshop offered students professional styling, career outfit guidance, and high-quality headshot photography. For many of our male students, it was their first time wearing makeup, making it a fun, fresh, and memorable experience.
Students expressed great excitement about receiving their professional photos, which they can now use for resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and job applications. Through this event, participants not only enhanced their outward appearance but also gained confidence to step into their future careers with a polished professional image.
The Office of International Students Employment Counseling will continue to organize meaningful and practical activities to support our international students’ career readiness and personal development.
