Exploring Perspectives with Points of You: Students Gain Fresh Insights Through Creative Workshop
On September 5, 2025, students gathered at the Shuinan Campus for a unique "Points of You - Perspective Shift Workshop" designed to encourage self-reflection, creativity, and connection.
The workshop featured two parts. In the first segment, participants formed small groups of two or three. Each student selected a random card from the table and used its imagery to describe the “half full cup” in their life, symbolizing what they already have and appreciate. They then swapped cards with a partner to reflect on the “half empty cup,” exploring areas of challenge or growth. Moving forward, participants chose another card to represent what they wished to invite into their lives at this stage.
The activity deepened as each participant selected three cards to symbolize their past, present, and future, weaving a personal life story while peers offered reflections from different viewpoints. Through this exchange, participants gained valuable insights into themselves, learned to see their own narratives through multiple lenses, and strengthened their ability to approach challenges with fresh perspectives.
For new students, this workshop provided a meaningful opportunity to meet peers, build connections, and start the new semester with a renewed sense of openness and possibility.
