Career Exploration Card Workshop for Incoming Overseas Chinese Students

To support new students in adapting to university life and exploring their future career paths, the Office of International Students Employment Counseling held the Career Exploration Card Workshop for Overseas Chinese students on September 4, 2025.

The workshop was led by Isaac Yong, founder of Canaan Project, who has been dedicated to empowering overseas students in Taiwan with career development opportunities. Through interactive card-based activities, participants were guided to better understand their personality traits and discover potential career interests.

A highlight of the workshop was the Angel Card Experience. After sharing their personal stories of achievement, participants received a corresponding angel card selected by their peers. This symbolic exchange fostered encouragement, recognition, and positivity, helping students to realize their strengths and potential.

The workshop concluded in an uplifting atmosphere, with students gaining not only self-discovery and career inspiration but also valuable new friendships. Hope this experience gave them a clearer sense of direction and meaningful connections at the very beginning of the new semester.
