Lecture and MOU Signing with Prof. Eyal Zimlichman from Sheba Medical Center, Israel
On August 11, 2025, the Office of Global Affairs and China Medical University Hospital received Prof. Eyal Zimlichman, Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Innovation Officer of Sheba Medical Center, Israel, and Founder of the global innovation program ARC, for a special lecture and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony.
Prof. Zimlichman delivered two keynote speeches, “Hospital Resilience” (Global Leadership in Emergency Preparedness) and “The ARC Vision” (From Innovation to Global Transformation), addressing major global healthcare challenges such as clinical efficiency, quality of care, healthcare worker burnout, and resource shortages. He also shared ARC’s innovative and collaborative approaches to tackling these issues.
During the event, Prof. Zimlichman and CMU President Mien-Chie Hung signed an MOU to establish the ARC Taiwan hub. Conducted entirely in English, the session drew enthusiastic questions from the audience, reflecting the medical community’s strong interest in transformation strategies. This collaboration not only strengthens the university’s ties with a world-leading medical institution but also lays a solid foundation for future hospital transformation and industry–academia partnerships.
