Empowering International Students for Careers in Taiwan
To support our international students and alumni in building successful careers in Taiwan, the Office of Global Affairs at China Medical University has launched the "Career Empowerment for International Students in Taiwan" program. This initiative offers a series of hands-on career workshops designed to enhance employability and build confidence for job hunting in the local market.
The program includes three main components:
1. Professional Headshot Session
Students receive professional hair, makeup, styling advice, and a high-quality headshot by a professional studio—essential for resumes, LinkedIn, and job applications.
2. Resume Writing & Interview Skills Workshop
Led by experienced career consultant, Adela Zeng, the workshop covers resume structure, keyword usage, and writing strategies tailored to Taiwanese employers. Participants also receive one-on-one resume reviews and practice mock interviews, learning tone control, body language, and effective answers to common questions.
3. Practical Career Training to Boost Job Offers
This experience-focused training offers personalized feedback and real-world application, helping participants enhance their performance in job applications and interviews.
A dedicated online resource hub for international students includes job opportunities and visa information: https://cmucia.cmu.edu.tw/english/worktw.html
This program is open to both current international students and alumni free of charge. More career development opportunities are being planned to help students achieve the goal of “Study in Taiwan, Work in Taiwan.”
