The 1st KU-CMU Joint Symposium
China Medical University continues to promote international academic exchanges and cooperation. The 1st Kyoto University (KU) and China Medical University (CMU) Joint Symposium was held at Kyoto University, Japan on December 20, 2023. A delegation of 11 elite scholars led by President Mien-Chie Hung participated in the joint symposium. Scholars of both universities focused on a number of innovative research cooperation topics, including cancer, stem cells and aging, cell therapy, treatment strategies and digital medicine.
President Nagahiro Minato of Kyoto University shared about the research topic of "Aging of immunity and immunity in aging", and President Mien-Chie Hung shared about the research topic of "Markers-guided effective therapy". After President Minato's speech, President Hung proposed to cooperate with President Minato on the research related to Senescence-associated T(SAT) cells. After the symposium, professors from both universities have discussed and proposed several innovative research cooperation topics, showing that this joint symposium was a great success.
