Founded in 1831, New York University is now one of the largest private universities in the United States. It is located in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village and downtown Brooklyn where there’s no doubt that the neighborhoods feel like a community. In addition to the three portal campuses, students can study abroad at global academic centers in Accra, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Florence, Madrid, London, Paris, Prague, Tel Aviv, Sydney, and Washington, DC.
